I DONT KNOW THE NAME OF THE K.SONG BUT EVERYTIME IT WAS SUNG IN THE HALL IT REMINDED ME OF FRANK AND NANCY SINATRA'S "SOMETHING STUPID"...IT JUST GOT UNDER MY SKIN.

"Hail the Theocracy, ever increasing, wondrous expansion is now taking place"
I used to sing;
"Hail the hypocrisy, ever increasing, wondrous expansion is now taking place"

*Jehovah is Our Refuge*
At the time I thought the song was OK. I never really believed it, but it's what I walked down the aisle to at my wedding. Little did I know that we should have walked out to, "Dark days are here! Man lives in fear. W/ dire expection, as to all creation!"
Now I just feel that the song is a big crock of crap.

LOL @ Jambon !!
That song is so dated -- JW's have no "wondrous expansion" any more, people are waking up !!

I remember when I was a teenager, I used to dread singing song no. 23. Whenever it got to the part "raise yourselves erect, you have nothing to fear", me and my friends would start laughing every time, without fail.

Keyser:
I posted some lyrics to song 23 earlier in this thread. They bear repeating;
Apocalypse now:
Dark days are here! Man lives in fear! With dire expectation, as to all creation... Having no hope, blindly they grope. Bla bla (can't remember).. Ballerina part: But the Bible gives us a reason for cheer Doodoo all the proof that the kingdom is near I'm about to throw up this song is so queer Raise yourself erect you have nothing to fear -

blindly they grope.
I guess that's kind of funny too.

i hated every song except the one that goes:
"soldiers of jah do not seek a life of ease,
this world and the rulers they do not try to please"ok, the lyrics are pathetic, but whoever wrote the music to that song was definitely into black sabbath.
towards the end of my tenure, whenever that song was sung i'd make devil horns as i sang it, always making my wife laugh.
