Well for me, there is no good answer that makes any sense nor seems right. As far as I am concerned it is a sick and twisted request, one that any decent god if he were real would not request unless he was cold and blood thirsty himself.

Terry, I agree with you. The entire sovereignty issue and ransom is morally repulsive.
That a perfect God could create humans with the opportunity to sin, then punish them for it is senseless. The idea that we have free will but can not use it in any way other than what God dictates is not free will at all. That we inherit sin and suffering because of what another human did 6000 years ago is unjust. Finally, if the Ransom was paid 2000 years ago there is no excuse for it not being put into effect yet. As shown in a thread of Leo's, 100 billion people have died since 33AD, 100 needless deaths if the Ransom had any value at all.
