It's very important not to equate the two. Something you are unable to explain does not necessarily violate the known laws of the universe. It's probably advisable not to jump to the conclusion that it does unless the evidence is overwhelming.

As i kept driving I looked up and saw lights. Nothing like in the movies but just dozens of large sized lights in the sky and all close together. I knew they weren't stars. I could see stars. But these looked like big street lamps in the sky. I just sat there looking at them for a while. All i saw were lights in the sky. There's nothing to say that they weren't something else...but...I was shocked none the less.

Maybe they were street lamps, or searchlights, or tethered helium balloons. There are certainly lot's of natural explanations, even if we don't have enough information to know which one is correct.

But anytime i looked at the time it was inexplicably 11:11

So, was it really 11:11 when you looked at the clocks, or were they all wrong? If a clock had been showing the right time and it wasn't 11:11, would it change to 11:11 when you looked at it? If you had proof of that, that would certainly indicate something beyond normal reality. But more likely, it was your drug-addled brain seeing patterns that weren't there. That seems to be confirmed by the fact that it stopped when you stopped taking drugs.

I had no proof just some weird flashes of evil. So I continued to my car wanting to get he he!! out of dodge. I get in my car, look up and the man is still watching me, like he KNEW I knew he was evil. I hightailed it out of there. I have never had such an experience before or again. I don't want to.

It sounds unpleasant, but most likely was just your imagination. Unless this guy turned out to really be a child molestor, it was probably just your mind playing tricks on you. Minds do that, unfortunately.

It's about a 6 hour drive. My car fills up at 55 dollars for a full tank. Normally it would take about a tank and a half to make the trip both ways. So, I kept looking at the gas tank and thinking, don't go down, don't go down, seriously, lol. I drove the last 200 km's of the trip with the gas gauge not moving. I thought, what the heck, it must be broken! I arrived at my parents with a half tank of gas, now, I cannot figure out for the life of me, how the hell I drove 200 km's and burned no gas, seems impossible. When my dad sweetly went to fill my car up the next day, it only took a half tank. Now how the heck can that be?

Maybe it was downhill all the way there! Or more probably, you normally make the trip with a heavier car (more passengers, luggage, presents etc.) and this time, the lighter car and/or better traffic or favourable winds or more careful driving meant you only used two-thirds of what you normally do. You probably thought the gauge wasn't moving simply because it wasn't moving as quickly as you expected.

The only paranormal I occasionally experience is thinking about a certain person shortly before they call on the phone. Not a chance that this is a coincidence.

That's almost the definition of a coincidence. You're thinking of someone and then they call you. It's your standard textbook clichéd coincidence. As in "Hey, what a coincidence, I was just thinking about you".

More likely it is the telepathic process, when someone thinks of you with a certain intensity it gets transmitted to your brain and creates a thought about that person.

Transmitted by what means? There is no evidence that thoughts can be transmitted remotely, despite decades of testing.

    Satanus:

I had a premonition type dream once. It was a warning that i was going to get into trouble at a place that i was going to the next day. I was very careful there, the next day. I narrowly escaped 2 guys who targeted me. If i hadn't have had the dream in mind, i may not have escaped.

A likely explanation of this is that your subconscious awareness that the place you were going to was potentially dangerous manifested itself in your dreams. This is quite common and reasonably well understood.

I get a 'sense' about people sometimes too. The worst experience was a family who came into the shop and there was such an oppressive spirit around them, which stayed after they'd left too. It was so bad it seemed to be draining any peace/joy etc from both the place and me.

Fortunately some good friends called in later that day and they 'picked' it up too - they asked if anything was wrong so I told them what had happened.

***If you don't believe in the power of prayer you may as well stop reading now***

They prayed around the shop and me and against this oppressive spirit and seriously, you could sense the heaviness lifting.

Actually, i also think that it came from my subconscious. However, i never had problems at the place. It is safe. For my subconscious to have forseen the problem, it must have known what those two guys were planning. But, i have no contact w anyone or anything in the area. I don't watch or listen to news or read newspapers, iether. It says a lot for my subconscious, doesn't it?

Gee wonder why I never thought of those things? Actually it was the same car, same amount of passengers and luggage, same amount of traffic approximately. The gauge did not move for the last half of the trip. I always drive the same highway speed. When I say it is impossible, what I mean is, I have considered and negated all the above factors and do not have any reasonable or justifiable explanation. I wonder if you assumed the above, because I am a chick, you know us women drivers right? Never paying attention. Btw, this is a roadtrip I take a number of times per year, same route every time, same amount of gas. Except that one time.

Glad to know I am not alone.

FunkyDerek. While I am all about proving stuff scientifically, there is no explination why I brush up against a million people a year and have only had that happen once in 30 years. Also I had read nothing about child molestors that day or huge evil men, I went back to the office and checked every article I had read that day for a subliminal title to a corresponding article perhaps. NOTHING. When I hit him, I was thinking of getting to my office with the tasty sandwich I had just acquired.

So did I! But there is a rational explanation for that, isn't there?

Were you driving behind any big trucks? If you get close enough you get into their draft, which cuts down on wind resistance and increases mileage.

"Btw, this is a roadtrip I take a number of times per year, same route every time, same amount of gas."

...and - you mentioned that your dad filled up the car the next day, and it took only one-half tank of gas. That, my dear - is 'proof'. Funky forgot and left out that tiny tidbit of info in his rebuttal.

    Good story.

True enough. But I couldn't then and still can't offer anything other than to say they were LIGHTS. Jumping to the conclusion that they were anything other than "lights" would have been unjustified.
