Is there another way to get your daughters to school? If he won't comply with your wishes (and commen sesnse), maybe he shouldn't be allowed to drive them on his motorcycle.

this may sound crazy in the Western world, but in other nations (such as Phillipines) this is the norm. Last year I sat on the balcony of my hotel in Pondicherry, India drinking my tea in the early morning hours and watched whole families zip by on scooters or motorcycles on their way to school (kids had uniforms on with backpacks). Dad usually drove, had one kid standing in front of him, mom rode behind him, sometimes with a kid between them, and sometimes another kid behind her......
scary as hell, especially if you have ever seen the way they drive in India.... (there was an episode of Amazing Race last year that showed the teams driving in that nonsenses....they drive crazy there)
