Watchtower articles on Muslim religion? Are they afraid to speak out?

  They certainly talk a lot against Christian religions especially catholicism but hardly ever against the Moslems or the Jews.

  When a JW talks to me the sales pitch comes to a screeching halt when he hears the words, "I'm Jewish". Now he has to convince me that Judism is defunct and Jesus is the Messiah and then overcome the Jewish expectation of a human messiah that brings world peace. Next he has convert him to a Jesus the messiah who started ruling invisibly in heaven in 1914 and picked only the WT Society to be his true Church in 1919. It is all too much work for a JW. They are now only harvesting the low hanging fruit that is left,ie- Christians who don't use the Internet, don't go to church, are lonely and seldom look at the Bible.

  the wts has written a hand full of articles in the last 30 years very much against Islam. In fact some of them were talked about right here a few years ago. after 9-11 these articles were brought up. There is a muslim site just about the jw's, and i'm sure he has wt articles on his site. i lost all my files into cyberspace. but will look around and see if i can find them. john

  When you find them, make lotsa copies and send them to bin laden and each of his team.

  You will not find articles criticising cults or mind control groups.

  You will not find articles criticising other religions when their prophesies fail.

  There are probably quite a few subjects they conveniently forget to discuss.

  Not easy to find. Even this Awake on Terrorism shows a hacker, some oriental asians in gas masks and a building which looks like it's just being demolished. Not a mad mullah in sight.

  The WTBTS does not have the balls to speak out against Muslim terrorists!

  The WTBTS was too close to the Trade Centre Buildings for comfort and since then have not mention the 'glorious cult of Islam'.

  In the False Religion 'pamphlet', the results of following such an evil cult as extremist Islam could have been pointed out.

  Instead, they inadvertently pointed the finger at themselves! What a bunch of dumb asses!!

  Why do you think the GB are so keen on beginning to move out of New York? They don't want to be the next target of Bin Laden! Though I suspect the bloke's got better things to do than read the Craptower!

  Sort of reminds you of Rutherford 'kissing up' to Hitler and trying to appease him in order to keep all their assets in Germany.

  They daren't speak out against Islamic extremists because they fear the consequences!

  After all, look what happened when some one drew a cartoon of Mohommad!

  Don't you think that the only true religion on the planet which was supposedly certified as such when Christ visited it in 1919, would not be afraid of speaking out for 'Truth'?

  Good observations about this strange silence. They do have a current brochure just for Muslims, and I can't remember the name of it, but part of it goes on and on about how accurate the Bible is and somehow ties it in with the Quran---Wierd. But it too is silent on the daiper head dandies with bombs strapped on.

  Maybe we should start a letter writing campaign to the WTS demanding that they serve notice on Islam.... you know, just so they all know where to send the new-cue-lar attack.

  It stands out in stark contrast to the issues JW's have taken a stand on in the past such as Military Service, Blood transfusions, Flag Salute, condemnation of Christendom, Pope bashing, priest pedophilia, etc.

  Imagine, if you will, living in a building clearly marked as a religious center in a city where Airplanes knock down structures because of religious fanaticism!

  The rats were leaving the ship after that no matter how you look at it.

  I just think the deafening silence on Muslim extremism is a demonstration of cowardice. If I'm wrong somebody can tell me why.

  Here is a weird news item:

  A disfellowshipped Jehovah’s Witness admitted to vandalizing a Jehovah’s Witness assembly hall in New York’s Harlem neighborhood.

  Dasun Allah, editor of the hip-hop magazine The Source, told the New York Post he “tagged” the building to expose the religion’s “hypocrisy.”

  Police were called to the scene where Allah had painted a number of cryptic symbols, but the graffiti had been painted over by then, the Post said Friday.

  Allah, 32, said he was disfellowshipped more than 13 years ago and now belongs to the Islam-based Nation of Gods and Earths.

  “They said I didn’t fit the criteria, because, to put it lightly, I wasn’t a choirboy,” Allah said.

  I saw another article that Michael Jackson was converting to ISLAM and building a Mosque. I guess he thinks he will be welcomed?!?
