I would shoot myself if I did, minimus.
It's against my personal value system to be a black and white thinker.
What about you, min?

It would be infantile to look at things in a black and white way, one should be looking at all the possible inbetween shades, it usually isn't an either/or situation.

Here here to what Eclipse said! I intended to bounce in here with some clever remark about being perfectly balanced and moderate at all times (like anyone woulda bought that lol), but Eclipse put it pretty accurately. I too thrive in the areas of gray, black & white only doesn't allow any room for exploration, thought or creative expression.

Exactly! I personally feel it shows a tremendous lack of imagination, initative and hunger for knowledge.

Yes.
I'm extreme in my hatred of extremism and dogmatism.
Open-minded is the way to be.
But if someone doesn't think so, I'm cool with that too.
Life is short.

I used to be an extremist until I started paying close attention to my 7 grandkids.

To the contrary - the longer I live, the more shades of grey I find.

Min is obviously a minimist, not an extremist.
Except when it comes to starting threads!
