I'd say in most things, I'm liberal minded. I believe most persons should be able to exercise their "rights" without Big Brother always looking over their shoulder.
Politically, I'm more conservative but with liberterian values.
Sexually, I believe that everyone is different. And that's fine with me.
I have extreme views but I take a very long time to analyze the situation first. There have been times it has taken several weeks before I form an opinion. There is always more to the story and the first exposure we get is quite often incomplete.
I think that people get very extreme when it comes to politics. Seeing the ultra conservatives and ultra liberals going at it makes me wonder how ANY extremism can be benefitting. Ted Kennedy is a very, very liberal senator, however, he has championed the rights of those needing it in healthcare and support. Ronald Reagan wasn't perfect but he was much better than Carter and he made other nations aware that we as a country were not going to take being viewed as second rate.
As I always remind the new Eldums who haven't been warned not to hassle me.
Right and Wrong maybe Black and White, but Discernment is all the shades of grey in between!
Beyond this yes I deem myself an Extremist in the sense that my best quality is my worst quality!

Actually, this DB has become a lot friendlier when we discuss our disagreements. Rather than bullying or being close minded, most here are easy to express an opinion to.

Now that you mention it, being a radical extremist might have given fire and purpose to my life, along with higher blood pressure.
Today I view radical extremist of all kinds as being full of shxt.
But they do know what they believe in.
But they are still full of shxt.
The most difficult people to try to get along with are extremists. Nothing worse than trying to communicate with a d*ckhead.
I just finished reading "Do You Think What You Think You Think". It's a series of tests or mind games to get at the core of what you believe and what your views, ethics, and prejudices really are. While I don't agree with all of their arguments I found it interesting, thought provoking and amusing.
To answer your question I have strong opinions but am open minded. A walking oxymoron.
