How disgusting that Rutherford should have a car like that at his disposal, paid for by his followers, many of whom could barely afford to live. I expect he loved driving it around San Diego, where he seemed to spend a lot of his time occupying Beth Sarim, the house he'd supposedly had built for David, Abraham, Isaac etc.
Truly a testament to the cash value of running a false religion!
Excuse me but why are we saying that this picture shows J F Rutherford? The article does not mention him . It is ,rather strangely, about cars. The following article tells us that "wealth itself is not condemned in the Bible" just the love of money.
The man standing by the Cadillac does not not look to me to be J F Rutherford ... I have read though that he had a car at Beth Sarim . This article says nothing about WT history .
