  Branch leader Nicolson also became Apostate in 1916 when Russell died taking half the societies property and funds and starting the "Berean Bible students Association." His wife did not follow him.

  A convention where these 2 groups join up, will be held in Jan 2008 cost $210. {see website} Interesting that on Roses death certificate in the 1950's her occupation is "Author." Hennings died decades earlier. There group goes on.

  Hmm, thats amazing. I was even suprized recently how a Doug mason, found Rose Balls gravesite. Oh well, I guess it all figures she would go in the other direction. I mean the founder of a religious organization diddling a 10 year old is just a little too hard to stomach.

  It makes sense that she went to the farthest reaches of the earth within her grasp to escape that bearded, hairy old he-goat, and his god dam Bullshit.

  Another asshole like that, was the founder of the children of God movement of the 60's. He called himself Moses david and beleived that having sex with children was perfectly fine. He got his disciples to involve themselves in what he called flirty fishing. Having sex to win people over to the lord. He twisted the scriptures by saying that if one reached salvation through this loving manner it was worth it.

  Is it any wonder their are so many pedophiles in Jehovahs clean organization today. They're just a chip off the old block.!

  Rose Ball was born in the same year (1869) as Judge Rutherford was, and was even a few months older(!) than him.

  Bill Clinton: 'I did not have, sexual relations, with that woman...." The Witnesses make a big deal out of Russell's wife not producing Rose as a witness in the court case....how could she! Australia was far in those days. Also she only charged him with "being alone with Rose in a locked room at times...sitting on his lap, him calling her his little wife", showing her alot of attention etc. not actual sex relations more like not apropriate behavior.

  Rose Ball was involved in a court case (? lawsuit) if I recall correctly in the 1920s. I have been thinking of ordering the transcript just to see what that was all about.

  This is taking an interesting turn. You are not saying anything directly but, if Vm44 is correct. Perhaps she wasn't underage. I read the court transcipt and I seem to remember her being 10 at the time of the accusations. Perhaps nothing was proven conclusively but when you lock a door with someone and whisper sweet nothings in their ear,it doesn't take much to figure the rest out. They have given so many people an unfair trial, that i say say GUILTY regardless. It is inapproprioate behaviour for a married religious leader.

  Even Russel himself says that he went about like a Jellyfish to various women floating about. Hell even Rutherford was guilty of going with Berta Peale, if I remember her name correctly. I do not give these A holes the benefit of the doubt. They don't give it to us,and with their power to ruin lives,they can hide secrets and do whatever they wish.

  I don't think Russels wife was too happy with his behaviour in any case, and in those days, especially with a creepy religious icon you just didn't talk about it. GUILTY!!!!!!!

  Tyrone, in fact Rose was not 10 years old when Russell flirted with her, she was around 19 or 20 at the time. It was the WTS that made her 10 years old in order to make her relationship with Russell appear as an innocent father daughter relationship but it backfired and made him look like a pedophile. He even put her on the Watchtower board as a member though this was kept from the public.
  
  Most likely he intended to divorce his wife and marry with her. Their marriage was sexless by common consent.
