    Are you sure about that?

except for the last part about god being taken out of the pledge of alligence, can you show me where else this is wrong? true, we have many problems we need to address, and yes, this government fails miserably at alot of the problems we have. but, do we take our lives for granted? i say yes. i'm not saying don't change anything, i'm saying lets all work together at solutions.

stop bitching and start a revolution!!!!!

complaining is easy. what do you purpose we do to fix all this? if you have answers, by all means, run for an office.

I do read The New York Times and The Washington Post.

Would you like those banned, zeroday?

Good strawman, you learned good from the BORG...

Leno is obviously a good Bush supporter. In fact I could never see any difference in the policies of the Democrats and the Republicans on any issue. What would one do that the other wouldn't, be it something good or bad?

I propose that those that knowingly lied to the American people about this war be held accountable for it.

I'd run for office if I were qualified and had the circumstances.

Since that is not the case, I will exercise my rights by voting in the next Presidential election.

Bigdreaux, that's not what I am referring to.

    My point is pretty simple:

Don't attribute words to people who didn't speak them.

That's the only reason I posted the link.

i think that's another problem. not enough people are involved in the process. i try to encourage people to vote even if they have opposite views of me. if everyone let their real voices be heard, the politicians would be running for the hills and the ones that want to do right will be voted in. if we take the power back, and overpower special interest groups, we all win.

i agree. but, how many of us have misquoted, or were wrong in thinking one person said something, when it was actually another person. i'm sure zeroday didn't misquote intentionally.

    You're a funny guy, zeroday.

You post a misleading story, innocently I'm sure, and when it's brought to your attention you say "who cares?"

You make false assumptions about where all Dems get our info and suggest that we are incapable of thinking for ourselves, and when you're called out on that, you throw the word "strawman" into the mix.

I'm glad we're free to have this most entertaining discussion.

I wish us both the best, for the future of our kids and grandkids.

    Peace!

As hard as I tried I could not find anywhere I suggested I wanted the NY Times banned if you would please show me where I said it I would appreciate it.
