I was getting tired of seeing the trash mouths sound off, the over-sexed topics or posts, the political back and forth slamming...it's a downer, and I stopped checking in on a regular basis. Now I come and hang maybe 1 time a week it seems like. Same old stuff still. And what's with all the cleavage and boob shots?? It's like being in a bar, and someones only got physical attributes to try and make a name for themselves through the crowd. Whether it's a photo of yourself or not, what's the need?

I knew you would get picked on for this statement! Anytime I mention that there is too much cleavage--I get attacked. But like I said before, some people just can't get enough attention, or catch a man with just their personality.

My posting (and reading) has diminished here 10 fold because of the growing tendency toward self-righteous indignation and kingdom hall mirroring on the part of many posters. If I wanted that, I would have remained in the cult.

Oh. And this thread tonight (on a rare visit) reinforces that conclusion. Due to my Macintosh computer, you will just have to envision my eyeroll emoticon here ==>

All great thoughts. I myself have made plenty of insulting sarcastic remarks, and I usually don't feel good about it afterwords. I have been trying just these last few days to make more positive remarks and tone down the rhetoric. I have to remind myself that so many people on this forum have weathered terrible pain, more pain than people can handle. We've all scattered when we exited the group like sparks from a fire, and we all landed in different places, alone, a cooling ember. no longer to feed on the warmth of family and home. The fact that we can't get along at times only gives critics more ammo. it also makes it harder for us to band together to fight against the WTS. We're so scattered that we are immobilized. So the better we get along and the kinder we are to one another the more effective we can be in exposing the WTS and the more caring and nurturing we will be with one another.

BISOUS- Respect your opinion. But just to remind you that showing respect , kindness , and getting along with others, has nothing to do with whether we've been a Jehovah's Witness or have been involved in any other cult or religion. It is called just good manners and common decency as humans to get along with others.

SHAWN 10538- That is a wonderful comment you said. We do need to be kind to one another and caring. It's true the org. was not kind to us , but it's good when we can show we are bigger people than they were by not being the same to others.
