So sorry for what you're going through. My son-in-law (at the time, in his early 20's, he's now 29) had one or some, and when my daughter told me they have jagged edges, *ouch* I can only imagine the pain. *sniff* Hope you'll be up and at 'em ASAP.

I think I'm going to name it Flint :)

I'm at work all messed up on T-3s and gravol. I haven't had much for pain since last night, but it's the dizzyness that's screwing me up.

I always thought Nosferatu was a male so I couldn't understand what giving birth was all about. Won't they use sonic waves or whatever to break the stone to small pieces though 4mm doesn't sound very big a stone.

Me and one of my brothers both have had kidney stones. Neither of ours passed. I ended up with hydronephrosis and hydroureter. The doctor had to go up in there and pull the stone out. My brother's dropped into his bladder and acted like a blocking valve when he tried to pee. My brother tickled me when he told his story. He said he just went into the ER and laid on the floor! The doctors had to go in and get his out too! He said his poor thingy was sore for days!

They put a stent in my ureter after removing the stone. I didn't realize how long a stent was! When I went to have it removed, it looked like the doctor was pulling one of those soft wire clothes hangers outta me!

    Definition

Hydronephrosis is the swelling of the kidneys when urine flow is obstructed in any of part of the urinary tract. Swelling of the ureter, which always accompanies hydronephrosis, is called hydroureter. Hydronephrosis implies that a ureter and the renal pelvis (the connection of the ureter to the kidney) are overfilled with urine.

That is because the stones have sharp points and edges, they are not smooth like stream pebbles.

Some are shaped like ninja stars....

they tear up the kidney tissue as they make their way to your urethra

    Lovely specimens, aren't they?

I heard that the acidity of lets say oranges helps to break down the stone, fresh of course, check into it
