Thanks! I posted that just as an FYI since the two conditions are very similar symptom wise. She went through natural childbirth and says the kidney stones were 10 times more painful.
parts of the video were really funny. I take prempro..works like a charm. I have some hot flashes, but my concern was the headaches and heart palpations, they were scary...felt like I was having a heart attack.

I have hyperparathyroidism too! The doctors monitor my calcium levels and magnesium levels. I had my gall bladder removed about 20 years ago. I had a thyroidectomy, leaving the parathyroids, in 2003. They damn near killed me! The doctor damaged my vocal cords during the thyroidectomy and he didn't tell me; I developed a hematoma over the incision and was choking to death. The doctor did not come back. He sent another surgeon in. This surgeon managed to intubate my bronch and caused a tension pneumothorax; another doctor came in and told him to pull the tube back! They were about to blow my lungs! I was on the vent for about three days. Later, I had to have a tracheostomy cause my vocal cords were in a closed position. One vocal cord recovered, so they were able to remove the trach. I have had kidney stones too. I have an endocrinologist that keeps track of my hormonal problems. I, also, have diabetes and hypothyroidism. My endocrinologist checked my female hormones and the results showed that I am post-menopausal. I don't have cycles anymore. I haven't had them for close to two years!
Isn't that pretty! My mother died from complications from a thyroid that regrew. It regrew in her chest, it crushed her windpipe and caused her to get anoxic brain damage.
I've ranted long enough! I got to find that picture of the scar on my throat after the thyroidectomy.
I hate all of my pictures! This is the surgical scar, before the trach. They had cut my neck open two times prior to getting the trach. Everyone that sees me can tell that I had a trach before!
My skin gets very dark when I'm ill. Not to mention being cyanotic from lack of oxygen!
