...would you please explain all these bones of human ancestors which have been found, which anyone can go to see in museums?

    Thanks.

LOL - is that from the book "Evolution for Dummies"?

If anyone seriously believes that evolution teaches we came from monkeys, they're not paying much attention are they?

Humans and apes share a common ancestor.

The reply i always get, especially from my one member of my family that still subscribes to the biggest magic act in history (creation)

Well these are not humans, they are other species of ape that have died out.

Now don't kill the messager, but that is the same stock answer, the more intelligent sounding ones then go on to mention Chargaff rules about species not being able to re-produce outside of its offspring (insert logical argument here).

The ones who don't accept evolution have plenty of arguments all of them based so far as i have seen on a mixture of bad science, appeals to ignorance, and flat out deception, Answers in Genesis website is a good example.

The plus side is the Internet is allowing the real evidence to filter out there, and more and more people are able to look for themselves, yes you will still have some that believe everything that answers in genesis say, or worse still what Kent hovind says, but the truth is out there, you just have to want to look for it.

The biggest problem people have with evolution is that it explains us without the need for a god. And god for a lot of people is something some poeple just NEED.

Yeah. Unfortunately they also NEED to lie to or keep their children ignorant of the facts of life.

So, any creationists want to explain what these bones are if not human ancestors? Or would you just like to continue lying to yourself and others?

On the contrary, evolution via natural selection does not address the "need" for or against a god. carmel

It disproves the Biblical god, who was supposed to have made humans as we see them today 6000 years ago.

If natural selection is the driving force, where does God come into it?
