Hi Serotonin Wraith,
I tried to ask my mum this question years ago when I first examined the evidence for myself. She didn't really answer the question, just kept going on about trusting Jehovah and his org. etc.

I enjoy studying evolution now. I can't believe how I used to argue creation/evolution with people at the doors when I knew absolutely nothing about it!!

(Good book by the way: From Lucy to Language by Donald Johanson)
