  Nope...not them, but those with some clout who are more outspoken...yes. Perhaps some of the shareholders

  of the many corporations the Society has set up are antsy.

  I think there is some dissention going on right now among the ranks. When a corp. begins to lose money and

  face multi lawsuits, shareholders begin looking at management for reasons why and they hold them accountable.

  I think this is where they are right now.

  Edited to add: IMO, this may be part of the reason for the members only WT. Changes have to be made in

  the org. or they are going to loose the major percentage of their people. There's too much information available

  now via the internet and people have no excuse for remaining ignorant. I look for major doctrinal changes after

  January and a savvy way of explaining them to the r&f. If it doesn't happen, I see a real coupe taking place.

  what you are failing to consider is that there is a very small chance that any of the long time annointed actually believe the call is still open.
  Despite the fact that the WT has not given a scriptually appointed date, the long-timers will still believe the call is closed and that they simply dont know the time it was.
  The long-timers will "read into" what the WT said just like the rest of us (R&F) did, and that is that while we dont officially have an end date to the call and as a result new ones can "claim" to have the call, the WTS actually believes it has ended and the reason the WT said those of the 144k dont have any more holy spirit and that they may not necessarily qualify for "privileges" in the cong. is to weed out the "crazies" that think they are annointed when they really arent.
  The long-time "annointed" will, IMHO, not believe this applies to them.

  make sense?? I think so, I have been around long enough to understand WT speak...........

  Any coup against the Watchtower will come from financial pressure such as from lawsuits or a continued downturn in contributions. JW vote with their wallets. It is the only voice they have.

  what have they said???? This is one topic that gets me going. I cant believe the crap shoveled out of the Rev. book..........

  I agree that the recent article regarding the "anointed" having no more spiritual insight than anyone else will probably piss off a few of them. But what are the logistics of such a thing happening? What kind of security measures employed at Bethel would have to get past? I imagine having the thing televised might put the current GB powermongers in a mighty uncomfortable position in which they would be compelled to acquiesce...

  I'm not sure it's the old GB farts that control the WTB&TS. I think they are figureheads. Unfortunately, there

  is no way to find out who is really running that organization. There is absolutely no transparency and no one

  is allowed to ask questions and delve into it. There's too many corporations set up and too many ways to dip their

  hands in the till without having to account to anybody for it. They started these new corporations around 2000 I think.

  They definitely have covered their bases. Ask too many questions and you get booted out!

  The only to do anything is to get the government to give these corporations the death penalty ( literaly it is a legal term corporate death penalty ) sence the are 1;not a charity as the were chartered 2; not in the public intrest 3; harming the public 4; spreading harmful medical advice 5; with holding evidence to aid criminals from prosecution.
