Simon, Today is B. Spears's 19th birthday!! Make a wish and blow out the candles.

Y'all are just walking into this one.....
Big Sigh.... ok,ok,ok. I'm going to refrain from making my slightly (well, a lot) off color response about Seven & Simon wording of Brittany, blowing candles & plugging in.
However, it's testing my will power, to be sure.

ROFL, waiting. Simply your refusal to run with this one is sufficient to conjure up many, many images. ROFL
Hey Red,
It's so hard not to snicker while trying not to conjure too much.
The world contrived to get on before I was born (I don't quite know how) and I dare say it will make some sort of lame shift after I am dead. George Bernard Shaw
Glad to see that you can snicker too.
Btw, how's the weather up there in yankeeland? Dopey southerners are buying out the stores for necessities (milk, bread, beer) 'cause we might get an inch of snow.......

No snow here, Waiting. We did get a slight dusting on Friday, but it was gone by the afternoon.
It's been chilly, but sunny. Actually, it's rather nice to be outside as long as you're active. How come you Southerners are taking our snow this year?
Hey Red,
might get an inch on snow
Nope, we didn't. But gloomy today. Southerners also stay in on gloomy days - usually gloomy days don't come often and it's not worth the trouble of fighting them. Just stay in till the sun comes out. Usually tomorrow.
Started reading a book "Hannibal." Same author as Silence of the Lambs. Pretty good so far.

waiting, Hannibal the cannibal-good gloomy day reading. I found the book disturbing, but couldn't put it down. There's an interesting chapter about Dr. Lector's memory palace and overcoming your surroundings. Read the author's Red Dragon if you ever get a chance.

Hi Chris,
I've had similar circumstances. My husband left me, for his freedom, got married, and died. I loved him and my marriage very much. Thou I am looking back now, when I was going on that roller coaster ride, it had many mountains and valleys. It leaves you numb, and moving slowly, it takes so much from us, emotionally and mentally. My heart goes out to you, and may I encourage you to hang in there, for that new system, because it's all we got!!
Margaret
Hello Margaret,
Nice to meet you. I've read your post, hope you don't mind me responding.
I have been divorced and remarried, many years ago. Very messy. I agree with you - what a roller coaster of a ride through life.
Things are never quite what we expect - but this life is worth living in the present. The New System might take a while to get here - and we've got our lives and families now to live, don't you agree?
