But I think that the fact you appear to have made up your mind before reading all of it (without reading all of it, actually) suggests something else: that you are still “blinded” by the teachings of the WTBTS that says “if you hear something different than what you’ve been taught, stick your fingers in your ears and go, ‘lalalalalalalalalala’…” Obviously, you have learned this technique quite well. I am not sure it’s going to serve you any better than it does them… but, hey, whatever “floats”… YOUR “boat.”

  No, dear Woza. The TRUTH is that you hear what you WANT to hear… and DON’T hear what you DON’T want to hear… which LEADS you in circles. You, like so many others… would much rather have your EARS TICKLED… with words and that make you “feel” good… than with the truth, even if it’s… well, a bit painful. You are a “blue-pill” eater.   Ummm… no, I said that FAITH in the thing heard… is first... for US. The thing heard doesn’t COME from us and so is not required first from us, which is what we're discussing: what is required... from US. It is faith IN the thing heard, as I shared with you.

  But herein lies the problem, as it often does: you HEARD… what you WANTED to hear… and DIDN’T hear… what you didn’t want to hear. We tend to read this way, too, and both the Adversary AND the “scribes and Pharisees” know this. They KNOW… that when we read… we HEAR what we WANT to hear… and DON’T hear what we DON’T want to hear. Let me give you an example:
  
  For DECADES the WTBTS has taught you that “the light… keeps getting brighter and brighter,” telling you that the scriptures say this. I say to you that there is NO such scripture, old or otherwise. There IS a scripture that says “the PATH of the righteous ones is LIKE the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter… UNTIL THE DAY is firmly established.” Now, of course, they can’t TELL you that is says that. Why? Several reasons:
  
  1. Most don’t KNOW it actually says that
  
  2. If they do, they can’t afford to correct it because SO much of their “tacking” (changes in doctrine) would no longer fly
  
  3. Even if they know it says that, they don’t know what it MEANS.
  
  It means (assuming you have read this far and actually want to know), that as one walks… with CHRIST, the TRUE Light… with that One LEADING him or her through the “darkness” of this world…. one comes closer TO Christ (yes, he guides you to himself)… the “Light” that “came into the world.” So that DURING this journey… the PATH before such one becomes lit with each step closer… and becomes LIKE the LIGHT… Christ… because HIS glory is REFLECTED ON the path, and so it... the PATH... becomes “LIGHTER”… and “LIGHTER”… i.e., LESS in darkness and MORE in light… until one actually SEES him… the True Light… the DAY(star)... Christ. Until HE becomes MANIFEST… firmly established… before such one. Truly, this is what the verse means.

  For indeed, it does. And I showed you “things written” to support that truth. Whether you hear… or refrain.

  Humility is needed to hear

  No, dear Woza... FAITH... is needed to hear... and once one has HEARD... one must humble oneself to the message. Wait, I know... let me ask you: Was Cain humble? And yet, did he not hear God speak? How about King Saul? Jonah? Did he not hear God speak to him? And yet, where was his humility? Did he not, in fact, get angry with God over a gourd tree? And how about Saul of Tarsus? Was he not actually going around dragging Christians from their homes, delivering them up to be KILLED? Where is the HUMILITY in that? Did he not even APPROVE of the stoning of Stephen? And yet, HE almost immediately afterward heard Christ speak to him, yes? How about the demons? Are they humble? Yet, can they not hear when God speaks… through Christ… from the heavens? Truly, they can. Why? Because, unlike us… they KNOW He exists… and speaks.
  
  And so, now, I understand why you think humility is required, dear Woza, truly. But I say to you that, while it is a desirable quality for one to have in order to REFLECT the Christ… it is not required to HEAR the Christ. FAITH is the only requirement for that… and AFTERWARD, once one has HEARD… one can then LEARN… humility… FROM the Christ.

  and accept so one can have faith.

  There are millions of humble people in the world, dear Woza... yet, they do not hear. On the other hand, the faithful... are few. Truly few. Just as my Lord said, "Go in through the narrow gate... FEW are the ones finding it." Why? Because they don't know what the "gate" is. Or rather, WHO it is. Why? Because they do not HEAR him. Why? Because... they lack faith. I ask you: were those who received that which was promised, for example Abraham and Sarah… said to be humble? Or does it say that “by FAITH”… these received the things hoped for"? It does. And not “by HUMILITY.”

  And to say I'm arrogant -well how dare you,

  I did not say it to offend, nor with malice; I said it with truth: your statement is born of arrogance. Arrogance in your assumption that “Americans” have some patent on understanding the Bible… as if it is only written in English… or hearing Christ speak… as if English is his chosen language. OR that one even NEEDS to read… in order to be called by Christ or to hear his call. Indeed, one can actually be physically deaf, for HE has authority to "open" ears... does he not?

  I give you an opportunity to discuss thoughts and you insult me!

  I sincerely apologize that you took offense to what I offered, for it was NOT my intention to insult you, not at all. If my speaking TRUTH to you insults you, then I exhort you to take the advice given by Solomon, considered by some as [one of] the wisest among earthling man (and I will state it here rather than simply direct you to it, so that you know I have no hidden agenda – I mean the following in the KINDEST of spirits):
  
  “Do not HURRY yourself in your spirit to be OFFENDED, for the taking of offense is what lies in the bosom… of the stupid ones.”Ecclesiastes 7:9
  
  Now, you can read those words “stupid ones” and start to rip your garments and throw ashes, and say “Oh! She insulted me again, she offended me!” OR… you can stop, read the words again, slowly if necessary… and get the SENSE of them. For I promise you, truly, that doing so will be of GREAT benefit to YOU… because you will certainly save yourself a LOT of unnecessary stress and grief in your life if you learn and apply this lesson.

  It's plain for all to see here you lack the humility

  Sigh! You could be quite right, dear Woza, for I have learned as did Moses that Israel is indeed a "hard-headed, hard-hearted, stiff-necked" people, and often my "humaness" is put to the test by it. But I never claimed to possess humility. Indeed, I openly confess… and have confessed… that I am a foremost sinner, one TRULY in need of redemption. Which is WHY I offered myself as my Lord's servant. And humility certainly isn’t the only desirable quality that I lack, I promise you. Praise JAH, however… there is a RANSOM… for I, of all people, certainly need one!

  And I can promise you that I lack a lot of other “desirable” qualities as well. I cannot tell you how often I ask for… pray for… BEG for… the fruit of our Father’s holy spirit that is well, love… and kindness… and goodness… and long-suffering (i.e., patience)… and CERTAINLY… self-control. And faith. And peace. For at some time or another… I lack most, if not all of these. Sometimes I have a bit of one or two... sometimes even three. And then, it is only by means of the holy spirit GRANTED me… that I have any of them.

  My dear Woza, if this was what my Lord required… from me… or anyone else… there would be no one who could approach… or be accepted. I could be humble all day long… truly, the humblest of all mankind. Yet, if I didn’t put faith in what I heard from Christ… my humility would not save me. However, if I put FAITH in what I heard… so that I KNEW I was even spoken to… I could go to that One and ask HIM… to TEACH me humility. Which is what he did… and is still doing. I do not deny that I often fail him. But, praise JAH… it’s irrelevant: he loves me… and you… in SPITE of our failings. That’s why it’s a GIFT.

  You know, there are many who read these posts… and say just the opposite (to me, when they communicate with me): that they don’t understand how I can continue given how “rubbished” I am… when others don’t agree. You didn’t agree about the ministerial servants. You don’t agree about faith vs. humility. Yet, I did not malign you… or speak maliciously or abusively to you or about you. I did point out your arrogance, but not that you should take offense; rather, so that you would see how it is that YOU… are limiting the Christ and basically calling racially prejudice. I took no offense; I only wrote what is true – it was arrogant.

  You know, I do not consider you an enemy; however, even if I did… I would not wish such a thing on you, a return to darkness and slavery.
