  At the last elder school in the U.S. it was revealed that elders who have made it a practice of looking at REALLY BAD porn should not only be removed, but DFed as well.

  Well the "REALLY BAD" porn viewers must have been coming out of the wood work and getting DFed right and left. So the WT had to send out a follow-up "Whoa Nellie" letter about 6 months later. Turns out, the boys in Brooklyn probably see enough porn that they thought anybody would know that "REALLY BAD" porn means bestiality, child porn, rape, torture, etc. But since they didn't spell it out quite clearly enough, a few local Victorian BOEs started DFing guys who had been looking at "REALLY BAD" stuff like............well, OK,............heterosexual oral sex between consenting adults. Oh, the humanity! So the "Whoa Nellie" letter had to spell out in great detail exactly what constituted the "REALLY BAD" stuff.

  Oh, almost forgot. What should be done about the poor slobs who got DFed for looking at BJs? Let 'em rot. They know the procedure to come groveling back. Hey, at least they were consistent on this part. The WT has NEVER done a retroactive, blanket reinstatement over "new light" so why start now?

  The one I want to was in the 1990s. There was an issue of whether you could count time studying with a person with multiple personalities. I forget if you can count a study with each personality, but it was an interesting concept.

  elder school is easy to sum up

  the elders have a book (sheparding the flock) which they are issued when they are appointed as an elder.

  this gives them basic guidelines that they have to follow...... but its INTENTIONALLY left vauge because they dont wanna issue rules and then be held accountable for said rules.

  so every year they have the elders meeting which happened around christmas in my cong. the elders meet up there and are givein RULES that they cant record on audio tape......... but can handwrite into their books..... this way if one of these books gets into the hands of a lawyer............ well the person wrote it in wrong......... if we meant it like that we would have PRINTED it in OURSELVES..............

  Elder's School what is it?

  It is a very upbuilding event where you get the real lowdown that is not in PRINT.

  You take notes and refer back to them when confronted with 'sticky' issues within the congregation and during kangaroo courts.

  That way, the WTBTS is never implicated when you follow their 'unwritten' instructions and the JW you have screwed over acquires a good attorney who is just yearning to not only clean your clock but also your bank account and every other asset that you own.
