I changed my name to Fernando one time to impress a girl that liked ABBA.

Don't be afraid to get professional help. There are probably therapists in your area that can help you work through your illness. Bad70'sgroupitis afflicts alot of people and they are the last ones to know it most of the time. It can cause you to become a loner and withdrawl from those who actually have good taste in music. You may think you can manage it now but it can quickly progress to buying Captain and Tennille and Barry Manilow CD's. The psychology profession regards that as rock bottom and quite often terminal.
Bad70'sgroupitis can tear families apart and alienate you from society. Don't be a victim, get help.

Good advice but, alas, we were afflicted to late. The disease ended up getting four from our family, my wife, her parents and me. It was so subtle an attack we didn't see it coming. We were given free tickets to 'Movin' out' based on the music of Billy Joel and it escalated to us scoring tickets to 'Mamma Mia!'. I'm so ashamed that we would get so drawn in by such an insidious group of musicians. It all came crashing down at the end of the season when we were shamelessly trying to cop tickets to 'Celtic Woman'. The celts may not be a 70's group but it shows how far one can spiral when the madness gets into you.

Please don't tell me that you dress like them to? Get help before it's too late. Just listening to Bad CO., Zepplin, Pink Floyd and Aerosmith a few minutes each week can start your recovery. It will allow you to get to the first step and admit that you have a problem.
Drop that Dancing Queen CD and step away from the stereo!!!!!!!!!!

I saw the play "Mamma Mia" when it came to Minneapolis, it was great fun !!! They had over 20 ABBA songs around the story.
And who else enjoyed that Australian movie "Muriel's Wedding"? Muriel just lived for her ABBA music.
In that movie they played this song during the wedding. It has great saxophone parts: (I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do)

Sorry, I couldn't hear you, I have the Carpenter's playing in the background. Up next is 'Cracklin Rose' by Neil Diamond. I am so weak!
My wife is an enabler - she took me to a Bad Company concert about 8 years ago. They were opening for Billy Squire.
