I talked to a former Peace Corps worker that was assigned to Africa. He said that you, always, must remember that your drinking water is someone else's sewer, upstream.
Same thing with the WT: if you consider the "sourrce" you realize what is true with the water in Africa is, also, true of the source of the "spriritual stream" issueing from New York.....

It's not very suprising to find Jehovah's Witnesses that know next to nothing about the organization that they are a member of. The organization is very sparce on keeping the adverage member up to date on what is going on within the group itself. Usually all that is passed down from headquarters is generic stories about their preaching and building work that all sound exactly the same. There is no real content and substance.
Because we are living in a growing 'digital' age the Watchtower is in many respects actualy fighting for the attention of their own members (but not their thinking minds, they have got that). There is a possibility that these JW only magazines may serve the purpose of providing JWs with a little bit more in depth information regarding their organization thus making the adverage member falsely believe that he is actually very informed about his religions organiztaion.
Right now the Watchtower basically relys upon myths spread around by JWs themselves. Members tell each other rumors and such about what they have 'heard' about latest news regarding the governing body, preaching work, and other things. These new magazines might take this to a new level.
