Even NEWER LIGHT on Generation doctrine??? (page 2)

I am not sure if anybody already mention that Raymond Franz already pointed out before the 1995 change that the most likely explanation the WTS would be to link "the generation" to "the annointed". He attributed this in CoC to Albert Schroeder and said that this idea was around for some time and that by means of this the generation could last forever because there were new "annointed" each year. In my German edition you find it on p.213.

It was discussed at the recent annual meeting and will be coming out in a WT to follow - I believe it will be the January edition (the JW only version - so it can GET REALLY CRAZY!)

I wasn't there personally, but basically what I was told by someone who heard it from someone who was (sorry third hand info, but oddly enough I respect this particular chain of info and believe it is reliable) was that the generation applies to the faithful and discreet slave class. It does make a lot more sense than the ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS explanation that everyone fell for back in circa 1995.

If and when it comes out in the TOWER, it might just be my chance to stand up and say - What the HELL! All this changing doctrine is NUTS and I am OUTAHERE!

I just may have to carry on my mission to free more minds from the outside looking in, instead of from the inside looking out.

Guess I just blew the anticipation thing for the WTBS.......

And yea I showed the copy of the Bratty's Jan 15 Cover and "loose" translation too, but only after our BKS leader asked to see it. Said he had seen something "similar". (I wonder in Elder L-C M is a lurker)

This leads me to wonder why they did the 1995 change the way they did.
Did they think it had to be some inbetween garbage before the rank and file would
accept the final change years later? Kind of like- "Let's confuse everybody, so they
don't know how to react, then leave it for 12 or more years, then finally give them
something new that they can say is at least easier to understand than the previous
new understanding. They will forget all about examining how ridiculous the whole
thing is. Besides, by then we can open the door for more anointed. If we do that
now, they might examine our reasons."

So they are gonna say that there will still be anointed alive when the end comes?

What sense does that make? What in the bible would remotely suggest that that was what that scripture meant?

Oh, I see, it has to be biblical because the FDS say it is biblical right???

I am interested to see how they are going to explain this.

And why would anyone be excited about this?

Also, why in the world would people still believe this crap? And throw in their smug attitude of right-ness along with it?

The generation change back in '95 has since been the 500 pound pink gorilla standing next to the speaker on the podium that everyone pretends is not there.

Apparently it has become necessary to remove the gorilla, or paint it.
