I have never heard of him on any website. Based on that picture it's obvious that he is screwed up on the far end of the JW mindf&%k scale. I know people really get a strange sense of reality when they escape the borg but this guy looks like he's about to put on black nike shoes and get castrated.

I for one don't find tormenting another human being funny! Even if they are a bit odd! I do not know this Obves! And have also read some posts that boggle my mind of his, but, I do not and will not think its funny to dehuminize anyone. No one knows the path or shoes another has walked in, or what made them who they are today. Some never escape the past, or radical teachings they were raised with, due to many reasons. Be thankful if you have escaped. It's fine to think to oneself that certain ones may be a bit off, but to openly riducule them like this is tasteless and cruel in my opinion. Perhaps it makes the one ridiculing feel good, and better about who they are and where they are in life, but, remember, even the oddest have a heart! Why go in and slice up who they are, just for humor? Even if they are a tad bit odd?

Seriously......I do understand the concern about making fun of someone, but OBVES continues to relentlessly post here despite the ridicule. It doesn't seem to be bothering him much. In fact, I too sometimes wonder whether or not he is just pulling our collective leg.

Perhaps. I must admit that we (mods) are unsure that it falls into any category and so as you can see, OBVES has been 'allowed' to use up his full quota of 2 new threads a day for what seems like forever. I really don't know how consuming so much time on a db is at all mentally healthy for anyone.
I'd suggest that the best way to handle spammers is to ignore them, replies only encourage 'em!!
