To Sad Emo...it's the reason I implied that someone was goofing off in the radiology dept. It looks like a skelton model that was used. They can deduct the cost of that wasted X-ray from my next X-ray bill.

What goes in must come out. The doctor will use an instrument to allow air to reach the top of the object breaking the vacuum seal and allowing the object to pass on it's own.
The doctor will also recommend counselling.
I know someone who works in health insurance claims and cases like this are common, even in women.
It looks like the patient is waiting for surgery on the other hip as well. Just a guess.
Have a coke and a smile
I guess "Things (really do) Go Better With Coke"
In all seriousness, why must people insist on shoving random items into their orifices? Granted, it may feel very nice at first, but in many cases, it's terribly dangerous. For example, what if that bottle were to break? I hate to think about the possible internal damage. And what of the indignity of a visit to the emergency department when an item gets stuck? If one has the urge to try this sort of thing, any reputable adult products store (like Good Vibrations) will have a nice selection of toys that are designed to be safely used for these activities. For a minimal investment, one can be certain that their sexual activities are both fun and safe, so there's really no reason to use Coke bottles and god knows what else.
When I worked as an EMT we did transport alot of "stuck" objects patients and saw many more at the ED. It happens more then you may think becuase nobody is going to talk about thier trip to the ED at the next party they go to.
I transported one guy that was up in a tree pruning a limb and he fell and got another limb impaled. I still cringe when I think about that call. Those stories do not make the evening news or papers but they do happen.
I think the above photo is fake. You would not get that much detail from a glass bottle on X-ray. I see x-rays every day in the clinic I work at and glass is not very radio-opaque. Glass does not block light very good and blocks x-rays even less.
