I got no problem with Jehovah's Witnesses (other than it is a religion) the WTS I dont like.

I forgive JW's as it is. The WTS is another story.

Well if purple cows flew around the moon, and chickens never laid eggs again, and uncle Ted made the governing body send out personal letters to every JW apologizing for the child molestation scandals, let me think here, uh, how about no. I lost all trust in the legitimacy and truthfulness of anything that organization says. No thanks, think I'll have a nice cup of tea, thanks. Mrs. Flipper said it would be more likely for a monkey to fly out someones behind than for anyone in our household to go back to that. I agree of the " I Won't Get Fooled Again " tribute class to the Who . Peace .

Sorry Jeff, I pulled a knee-jerk reaction and replied without seeing your completed thought in brackets. And better yet, I posted your quote with the brackets included. I tend to do that on days when I am around active jw's all day, like today.

[I know that some have been hurt that are not any longer with us, etc. That's not my point.]

I'd like to someday be the guy that could forgive and forget even the most heinous outrages, but I'm just not there now. As the comedian said, "God ain't done with me yet." Ask me again another time, maybe my response would be different.

The World Wide Church of God did that in the mid 1990's..

I was raised in the WWCoG and left in 1976 after this prophecy failed:

I never went back to them.

The Watchtower Society representatives that 'studied the Bible' with me promised that the JW's never prophesied about 1975.

Do I need to go into any more detail about returning to the JW's?

Forgivness I can give, thats pretty easy considering the state of most people ie;confused and paranoid

Believing a single word from someone pushing a SYSTEM OF BELIEFS never ever

If someone GIVES you a sytem of beliefs they are your enemy . Thats a truth

No, I wouldn't myself if they were to reform that is, I'm now a dyed in the wool atheist now, I just find religion intellectually dull and uninteresting
