HA!
I've wondered when they'd start accepting donations online.
The Internet is VERY VERY BAD except for www.watchtower.org and https://www.jwgift.org/how_to_donate.aspx
Hypocrites.
I wonder what kind of Admin fees they have to pay credit card companies to process each online donation? I'd make 100 $0.01 donations if it cost them $100 to process all of them.
Minimum donation £5.00GBP - the site makes it easy for them to get a tax rebate on the donated amount if you tick a box saying you are a UK taxpayer - standard practice - they'd be stupid not to do that.
All money to be used in accordance with their Charitable Objects
Minimum donation £5.00GBP
So that tells me that the administration fee could be as much as £5.00GBP, which they would be able to claim as an "expense". But still could yield a net revenue of "0".
A quick look at Protx's website (who apparantly handle the transaction) seems to show that they may lose 10 pence per transaction.
So 90% of the money goes to the Watchtower.
These figures are for "corporate" transactions. Maybe they get a cheaper rate if they flash their charitable status around ???
I can remember reading of an on line donation service some years back, but at that time I was fading fast and did not want to use it..
I presume the money goes to the Worldwide Work Fund although it does not specifically say so. I guess the local elders would not want to push it too much, If they all donate on line , who pays the K H bills?
Hypocrites is an understatement! This is one of the directives that makes the Pharisees look angelic.
Does anyone know what CHARGEBACK means? I hear this is a good way to cost them a bundle: make a sizable donation by credit card and then charge back.
Not sure -- but I don't think chargebacks look so great on an individual's credit.

seems like Europe WT is ahead of the curve over US....I was in Hamburg Germany last year for the not-so special Special Convention...
those vendor carts that are normally used to hawk food? yep, the Borg had hijacked them to process credit card payments for donations
there was a line to use them...they even had helpful brothers and sisters their to guide you through the process...
(where's my puking smileys when I need em)
