A quick look at Protx's website (who apparantly handle the transaction) seems to show that they may lose 10 pence per transaction.
So 90% of the money goes to the Watchtower
But this makes me wonder??? Giving up 10% of anything is a CHUNK. I think realtors get a total os 6% and that is split between two. Is there NOBODY up there smart enough to do this directly??? And how much do you want to bet some brother/brothers own Protx? I bet the same about the CO's car leasing and sales company. I once was asked by WT to buy something very expensive for them, but I cant say what....anyway, I could get the item cheaper than them, because the seller had reasons for not wanting to sell to WT. Point is, I bet there are lots of brothers doing business with WT...not that there is anything wrong with that...oompa

If memory serves me right, C.T. Russell alluded to the fact if donations were sought, it would not be God's Org. Someone may have the exact quote.
