ooooh, life isn't long enough. Such a lot of wonderful places to visit. Haven't been to a lot of places. I really liked Alaska except for Fairbanks. I liked Moorea - what a gorgeous place. I liked Suzhou, mainly for the art and old streets and camphor trees. I liked Beijing - there's a lot to see there. I haven't seen it all, but doubt I'll go back. And of course, there are a lot of beautiful places in California.

I'd have to say so far it's been Salzburg, Austria. The town is soooo beautiful and I had a ball shopping all week. Germany was beautiful also but I only got to go there for one day so it looks like I will have to go back. My ancestors are all from Bavaria so I really want to travel there next.

The only ugly thing we witnessed in Florence was 2 American lesbians making out in front of a work of art....it was the most distasteful thing I have ever seen in my life, and the most embarassing as an American citizen, even trumping some of Bush's statements..... anywhere I have been.
Remembering the Italian men, as I do, I have a feeling the natives were not that offended!

I've been to the US, Germany, and Austria, but I'm not really much of a vacationer. I usually vacation at home, or if I go somewhere I prefer to stay in my own country. There's plenty to see and do right here.

Watson, I said, as "Amercican Citizens"....and let me tell you everyone around us was disgusted...we were the only Americans that I could tell other than those 2 girls. It was just after Bush was elected for the second time, so everyone considered any American kind of an idiot. This scene did not help matters.
