I think they're rope lights.
I could be wrong but I don't think those are rope lights. You would need a pretty big bulb to cast such a bright light from a house.
Hmmmmmm..... Good point! Now that you say that I would have to agree with you!

Here we go! This site answers my question! http://www.centsibleholidaylighting.com/c7-c9-christmas-light-pictures.htm

If the Witlesses were envious of the wimpy decorations you had last year, then I wonder what they are going to do this year. These decorations look like strings of those C9 outdoor lights that come in strings. I suggest doing your homework on setting those up safely, then go to town on it. The other decorations are quite common in hardware and department stores from now on to the end of the year.
And the Witlesses had better leave their damn eggs at home this time. Harassing people that are doing things they cannot is not going to help win people back. All it's going to do is get them into trouble that can be publicized, bringing shame and reproach on the Tower. If they don't like it, then maybe they should take another look at whether they really want to remain Jehovah's Witlesses after all.

Dear WTWizard,
Damn straight! We are putting our Christmas tree in our front window, putting up a "Merry Christmas" holographic sign on our house, and am going to light it up as much as we can afford! We can hardly wait!!! What makes it great is my husband is totally into it too! He loves to shop for all the decorations as much as I do. I guess were both making up for lost time! (Like all our lives!!) I think after those Bozos were prosecuted last year, and they became such a public "shame", no other Witness even dare try the same stunt again!
Sincerely,
Lady Liberty
I found this site a few years ago: http://www.bronners.com/
Everything you could ever want for Christmas decor!
In fact, I got a decent number of ornaments from Bronners during the summer months. They have a huge selection of ornaments, lights, and outdoor decorations. They have Christmas trees in every size imaginable, and wreaths upwards of 4 feet in diameter. The decorations are very fine quality, though they tend to be on the expensive side.
I also got quite a few from www.christmasmouse.com . That site also has quite a few decorations and trees. The quality is a bit less refined than Bronners, but they are somewhat cheaper. Also, if you order from Christmas Mouse, they are likely to wrap the ornaments in tissue paper than putting them in a box (like Bronners does). Bronners also gives you bonus ornaments at $50 and $100 spent, plus a free candy cane. Either way, it's hard to lose.
