Good lord.......well, I seriously doubt that the link he posted caused him so much PTSD that he had to invent a wife, and two friends and then kill her off, but I'm glad he at least admitted he was a fraud. I also hope he gets some frigging psycho therapy because he's obviously in desperate need of it.

I will be phoning Grace to make sure she gets her money back (and Grace, if you ever send someone on here more money, I'm gonna give you a whuppin'!)

Just to be clear, I did say I was taking my cynical hat off to make a comment about PTSD. As implied in my post immediately before it, I don't buy his story at all.

I've only been an observer and I don't believe his story. In September 1985 I watched about 10,000 bodies burn in a baseball stadium after the earthquakes in Mexico city; I brought some there to photograph and disposal; I also've seen dozens of people die while working as a paramedic & rescue tech. I feel no inclination at all to create ficticious 2-year long dramatic stories in a bulletin board of any kind to elicit pitty, attention or compassion.

The pic he sent with the wig, making fun of his non-existent wife balding after chemotherapy is not a sign of his repentance. He is afraid of the people he hurt. He should be. He is not sorry for having lied and hurt people. He is sorry that he got cought.

what a load of crap. Have you ever read The Sociopath Next Door? The guy's a sociopath who lies for reasons of his own. He got caught, now he's trying to make it anyone's fault but his own. I don't believe he saw those folks die, either. And if he did, and he uses it as an excuse for his inexcusable behavior, well shame on him. Lots of folks have PTSD from real horrible events, and it doesn't lead them to deceive people like that.

Thanks for sharing that with us AK Jeff. Well all i can say is IF Trevors claims about being present at Hillsborough on April 15th 1989 are true then who knows how an experience like this will affect you. I'm not an expert on PTSD and i'm sure most of us here are not also so lets not be quick to judge him. I remember Hillsborough on that tragic day 18 years ago in our semi final of the FA cup against Nottingham Forest. I wasn't there but i saw it on TV and was horrified & shocked at what happened. But to be an eye witness of the events of that day if your a normal right minded person must leave a lasting scar on you for a very long time and who knows might well affect you like that.

Well Trevor if you were there at Hillsborough then my sympathies to you and more important of course to all of the victims and their families. But does this justify pulling this elaborate hoax and fooling people (including myself) in the way that you did? We acknowledge your apology and certainly hope for your sake you cease in your decieving pursuits. Maybe you need to socialise a bit more, spend less time on the Internet, theres nothing wrong with going on the internet but if thats the only way you are interacting with people then maybe its time for change.

I used to be on a Hillsborough Disaster Survivors discussion forum, long before I was on JWD, and it was helping until the day someone posted a picture of the carnage with the caption "Liverpool fans getting what they deserved" underneath it. I was physically sick when I saw that, and I'm not violent, but if I ever found out who did that.. it's like saying the Jews deserved to be gassed at Auschwitz, very sick. The forum closed, and I decided to try and deal with my jw issues, not that they are anywhere near as bad as my Hillsborough issues.

Anyone else had their interest piqued by this comment?

He cites here a bad experience on an internet discussion forum, having been made "sick" by what someone else posted. Ironic that here he decided to play this part, making many others sick with grief and then outrage.
