Romo sucks...he's Ryan Leaf with a good attitude

Wow. That's saying a lot considering Leaf was one of the all-time busts in NFL history. Whatever else happens to Romo, and I don't think he's in the same category as Brady, Manning or Favre, he's at least taken his team to the playoffs (last year). That's a helluva lot more than Leaf ever did.

Whatever you may think of Romo, he's in the top 10 of quarterbacks in the NFL. He's got room for improvement, but to compare him to a collassal bust like Leaf shows a real lack of knowledge on your part.

Big Tex (High Five) nice to see another Dallas fan, that comparison to Leaf is still one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. To all the Romo haters... There is one man in the NFL with more TD passes than him right now, Tom Brady, that was as of last week, I'm guessing that's still the same. ALSO, Dallas had the highest ranked offense in the league heading into that New England game, the announcers made mention of it a couple times. As far as "several" AFC teams better than Dallas, I totally agree with New England, obviously. However, Dallas beat the Colts last year, remember? I think they can hang with them this year too. But no doubt in my mind, the Patriots will win the Superbowl as long as they have no MAJOR injuries. Romo, is NOT Favre, or Aikman, or Brady or Manning, etc. But for a 2nd year QB, I'd also say that he's a very gifted young man, with great instincts. Remember when Favre was young? He took chances, scrambled and had a strong arm with good receivers. He also screwed up plenty, I watched the Pack every weekend with my family, who were all Packer fans. Now Favre may go down as the greatest QB ever, according to some. Just give Tony time to grow, he's doing just fine, by everyone's standards. He even had a good game against New England, but Dallas defense just had no answers for Wes Welker in the slot, that's what killed them all game.

First of all the NFL has a habit of teams losing to unknown QB's. Again you guys didn't look at my statement he is good now but I predict next year he will blow hard. I know he was AMAZING vs the Patriots and oh that playoff game yea he was SUPERMAN! Romo has way too much hype and his lack of skills will eventually show when there is no T.O. to throw to.

Actually if you wanna talk hype that is T.O. , one of the most overhyped players in the league, he DROPS more balls than any other receiver in the league. Jason Witten is Romo's best target, and Patrick Crayton is developing nicely as well. I'm really looking forward to Terry Glenn coming back, that'll really move this team up, in my opinion. And check out Romo's stats in the New England game, they were actually pretty good, he only threw the one interception. New England simply outplayed them. Also that playoff game, I assume you are talking about the muffed hold, c'mon, let it go already, muffed holds happen all the time, USUALLY the starting QB isn't even the holder.

I read what you wrote and I'll take your prediction.

Realize in Romo's first 16 starts he has 4300 yards passing, 32 TDs, 19 INTs on 62% completions. Not too shabby. In fact, only one QB in NFL history had a better first 16 starts (Kurt Warner in 1999). That's not hype, that's reality.

There are several QBs better than Romo, but as I said I think he's a top 10 QB and I think that's a fairly common opinion.

Hands of Stone ain't he? I'm not a big Owens fan, but he is what he is. I agree with you that Witten is Romo's security blanket. Same way with Aikman and Novacek. I found it interesting that the one player Belichik took away was Witten. I'm afraid that Glenn won't be back until Thanksgiving and then play only part-time. Hope not, but his injury was serious.
