"Taking the lead in the Congregation"

The PO talked about "obeying those who take the lead" one too many times last night so I point-blank asked him who was the leader of Christianity during biblical times. I couldn't get him to say "Jesus" which is of course the correct answer, so I had to answer for him. I then added that he would have had assistance from the Apostles making them de facto "leaders" as well. So I point blank asked him "are you Jesus or one of the Apostles"? Since he wasn't willing to answer, I did it for him and explained that he was NOT one of the "leaders" that the scripture refers to. Just sayin'. The school janitor is trying to carve out more and more control over you every day, and it's time to point out his errors.

You'd take away all the fun that these window washers and carpet-layers would have being a "leader"? For shame! Maybe it'll be their only chance in life to push little people around. They just love that look on people's face when they say "we'd like to meet with you".

Well who does the scripture refer to?

I can see that loyal JWs would like to believe that the Bible refers to their beloved elders and Ministerial Servants, but I can't stop thinking that literal reading refers to Jesus and the Apostles.

Fortunately for WT leaders, nothing is taken literally.

Anyway I was tired and irritated with the pompous ass so I figured I'd blast him privately and kick him down a notch.

I will admit that I tried the same tactic on my wife (playing Devil's Advocate with the WT interpretation of leader) and it literally stopped her in her tracks.

Might be something fun to throw a wrench in whatever works you want to screw upo.
