I can imagine the article "sleep, is it for True Christians?'
And they will say the beds contribute to a whole lotta fornicatin', so true christians would want to avoid the temptation.

But my two cents worth.... I don't how any ex-jw can marry themselves to a dogma, political or otherwise. LIke the poster who posted about liberitarians-so, you have not one single problem with that dogma?
I'm a pragamatist. No party, just what works best. How can anybody be different and be married to the dogmas of any party? I'm not being an ass here, I really and Sincerly want some one whos staunch party, any party, to answer that?

When the Watchtower uses the word "progressive" it is to give the Witnesses the illusion of moving forward, advancing with ever increasing light.
In politics pragmatism is the way to go. I am a libertarian Republican who thinks that competition and the capitalist free market is the way to go.
A few years ago I saw a panel of Libertarian Party members who had been elected City and County officials. Every one of them said that when they got into office they noticed that political theory and what actually works can be two different things. They were all willing to deviate from the party line when it did not give their constituents the best service for the best money.
