I really started looking at labels quite a while back and even more so now, so that I can avoid any product made in China or in some cases India. What really rankles though, is the fact that in the USA, a law was passed about 4 years ago demanding 'product of origin' labelling on all our foods. The big food industries boycotted the bill so it has never been put into place. Everyone has something that tweaks them in a particular way and I guess mine is animal suffering unneccessarily for humans. That's where I place all the Chinese medicines that use animal organs, countries that routinely cage and slaughter dogs and roaming circuses that beat and shackle their animals in order to get them to perform. Not for me - sammieswife.

I agree, I get very rankled about abuse of animals, and children. I don't buy makeup from any manufacturer who uses animals to test eye irritation or anything else.
Can you imagine......they have tested rabbits to see how bleach effects the eyes! Who are these people who can do this for a living. What kind of monsters can go home and sleep at night after torturing animals or humans for that matter. Where do they come from and how were they raised?
The U.S. supposedly has secret torture chambers in countries that allow it under the Bush Admin.....
How could anyone try and simulate drowning procedures on a fellow human being: (waterboarding)?
Nasty, filthy, scum of the earth monsters...thats who. That applies to anyone who hurts animals and children too!
