Yes. I do. I came across a newer, soft cover book while cleaning out some bookshelves- I didn't know we even had it in the house. My mother had, apparently, given it to my daughter without my knowing because it had her name written on it, and little glittery heart shaped stickers on the cover beside her name.

I almost lost my lunch on the spot. I tore the thing in half- with my bare hands- which is really saying something considering my physical condition. Then I threw it out.

I think I've managed to get all of it out- the only thing left I just remembered I keep forgetting to throw away. there's Kingdumb Melodies tape in my 'junk ' drawer in the kitchen. I don't even know how it got there.

It's going out today. Thanks for reminding me.

I don' tknow how we get our subconscious free. . .I just have to hope we all get there someday.

One of my wife's most despised "Kingdom Songs" starts out:

"Dark days are here,

Man lives in fear...."

I just couldn't take it this week. I sang directly into her ear:

"Dark days are here,

Man needs a beer"

It helped with the nausea just a little.

The one that always got me for the lyrics was "Nazarites, how can we be like them? Self denial was their role!" (or was it goal? my memory is trying to protect me from recalling)

Sounds like a fun life. . .NOT! LOL

That one and my sister and I used to scoff at "Myriads and Myriads of Brothers" because, in our circuit, at least, there were NOT. There were way more teenaged girls than boys and we got pretty sick of it. We wanted to know where they were hiding those myriads.

I hate reading any publication they produce - their flowery self affirmations such as 'are we not happy when we see such things happening....' or 'true christians wouldnt take this approach...' or even 'our dear brothers and sisters in....'

The thought of peoples minds being manipulated with such complete shite is sickening to me.

Nausea is definately the feeling I get.

I admit that driving past a Kingdom Hall gives me the involuntary shudders. (Kinda hated even typing the words.)

My mom really wanted me to go to the memorial last year with her, so I went and my stomach was in knots the whole time. Thank goodness it was a congregation where I didn't know anyone, but I just wanted to hurl the entire time. There is no way I can do that ever again. I know my mom will be disappointed next time it comes around.

Yes, I do get a wave of nausea when I come across all things JW. Especially when I'm not expecting to.

It's kind of like anger, fear, sadness, disgust, hopelessness, nostalgia and humiliation all wrapped up in one ball of emotion.

Yes it does. I am having to look up a few things in the CLIMAX book and it is making me sick. What really concerns me is this is the first time a climax by me or anyone near me has ever bothered me....oompa

Driving by a Kingdom Hall for me is like going by an accident scene. I really have some anger issues with these people. I really want to grab their literature and smack them over the head. The whole damned organization is one of the biggest scams I've ever heard of. But I blame the people. When I liberated myself, I spent about 5 years reading the bible (NIV) and I just cant see how any reasonable person could draw the conclusions they do. Witnesses are not students of the scripture, they happy to accept whatever is fed them.
