hi carla - I have one of those pill popper thingys - it looks a bit like a syringe, you stick the tablet in the end of it and then press the plunger part. It usually works lol!
One of the tablets my cat is on (strangely it is a human prescription med) dissolves incredibly fast so if she hasn't swallowed it she 's usually foaming at the mouth within about 30 seconds - serves her right!
Another trick to get her to swallow the pill.
When you have her wrapped up and the pill on the back of her tongue, Hold her mouth shut and gently blow on her nose. It causes the swallowing reflex.
And for those who want to know how I found that out, A vet taught it to my family after trying to get our very smart dog to eat her pills.

Wow Bobbi, thanks - I've never heard that one before. I have heard that pinching their nostrils works, but that sounded a bit cruel to meso I didn't do that.
I'll try your suggestion tomorrow and let you know what happens!
