FOR there to be such variety of animals, wouldn't their have to be hyper-evolution?

Some animals in the same species have different numbers of chromosomes.

It is reckone that only 6 genetic changes(nucleotide?) can happen in a generation, otherwise genetic instability would occur.

Evolution is definitely not my cup of tea but wouldn't any fundy-type *HAVE TO* believe in hyper evolution out of necessity after most species were killed in a global flood?

I mean, how do they explain all of the species of each animal?

Yes, but they won't admit it.

Noah supposedly took only "kinds" onto the ark. These "kinds" were supposedly proto-species that multiplied and diversified into the species we have today.

And marsupials were invented by Satan to confuse you.

There appears to have been various virtual explosions of species, very early on. Then, most of them died out, about 95%. It's a bit like human development in the womb. Neurons develop in hyper excess. Then, those that don't hook up to organs, muscles and whatnot, die off. Same w a lot of cells; those not needed die of, commit suicide, apoptosis. Example, we had webbed hands. The cells that make up the webbing commit suicide. It sculpts our hand to what we call normal. I wonder if there may be a correlation between embrionic development and development/evolution of the species. Are similar process/forces/principles at work in both events? Questions, questions.

Satanus, here's some good information regarding what you brought up:

Who says God doesn't have a sense of humor? We have millions of species of annoying bugs but so relatively few tasty animals to eat. And usually the more tasty they are, the less of them there are. OK Mr. God of Evolutionary expertise..... please evolve me some air breathing lobsters that I can corral in the back yard and raise like chickens! Hee Hee Hee! Now I'm hungry.
