Canadian winters are great for couples... (constant cold + warm bodies = good times)

because I have no social life, that's why.
That, and I am packing for my trip in the morning...have to leave for a quick haircut (and when I say quick, just look at my pic, you see why LOL), but other than that..in for the night.

Well, it's National Novel Writing Month so of course, I'm at a coffee shop typing away on my laptop. But, the highlight of my night happens in a couple of hours. Tonight is round three of the elimination round of the karaoke contest that I'm a co-judge for. And, these guys are GREAT singers. They are so good that it will probably be decided by who has the better costume or who really gets the audience fired up.

Because my daughter's rehersal of the Nutcracker last until 10pm, and am watching from the back of the auditorium with my laptop. Parent are required to stay unless their children are over 14.
