My wife's sister is in town. They come to town maybe once every 5 years or so, as they live a considerable distance away.
Today I discovered that they are in town, out to dinner last nite, and didn't even tell my wife [or I] or invite her along. I am just seething! She is not DA'd or Df'd [I am]. She is not even allowed to see her own sister due to me leaving the cult? GRRRRR
I am just so angry at this moment I could scream.

Jeff, that flat out sucks! Are you going to mention it to your wife before she finds out through the grapevine? Or will that not happen? I would not ignore this. Outlaw says that will piss them off, but if you ignore them.....how the hell would they know they have been ignored?!?!?!?!? Since they probably cringe at the thought of being within 20 feet of any apostate, of even worse having one speak to them, I would calmly and deliberately ask them if they think that snubing your wife is what God would want since the bible promotes strong family ties and a close brotherhood....or something...anyway I would do whatever you could to make them feel small and sinful......oompa

I know it hurts to see your wife treated badly, that's always harder than being treated badly yourself. Stick together and consider the source.

LOVE IT! Now can Outlaw explain how he missed the point that it was not Jeff being shunned, but his JW wife whose sister is too? And also mister "very good at these games" how do people who in secret come to your town and avoid you, then know you have somehow "ignored" them??? This I gotta hear! Perhaps she could call them and go out to dinner with them before they go back, if she wants to. jws tend to "df" the family members despite the official position of the WTS that they not do so.

Brilliant again....They tried to make it so Jeffs family did not know they were in town, yet they wanted it to bother them, even though the intent was not to bother them?!?!?!?!
