It may hurt at the beginning, but you will enjoy the freedom. The truth of the matter is that it only feels unconfortable when you are at the meetings. Because the message that Society wants you to feel is that you aren't worthy of doing certain things. However, that being said our sisters have risen all above this stuff and are still able to find some measure of happiness in this. After all those years of experience in giving public talks, all that you will do is less than 5 minutes on the Theocratic Ministry school, and don't forget about those exercises in the School guidebook, before you give that 5 minute talk(Elders are exempted from doing those exercises) Talk about a person keeping their dignity. But you are free, and all of these are easy to overcome. But seriously all of those things (previous priviledges) came with a price.
Congratulations, and don't let the adjustment get you down. It gets better as time moves on.
