  I converted to the JW's after being brought up in a Baptist church.

  I was thoroughly convinced JW's were the only religious group seeking to do the will of the Father.

  Imagine my disillusionment when I heard and saw things that went completely contrary to their claim.

  These were not little trifling things that could be brushed aside. These were big ticket items; major works of the flesh as outlined in Galatians, Romans, etc. However, these sins were rationalized as imperfections of the fallen flesh. Yet, when those of other religious groups committed the same sins, they were seen as bad fruitage of false religion!

  My conclusion? ALL religions are corrupt. There is no such animal as a clean people. It is up to us personally as to whether we have a relationship with Christ. No religion, no church, no group. Only ourselves and the Savior in a one-to-one correspondence because it is only He who knows what's in our hearts.

  My assessment is that Jesus, if he even existed as a historical figure, was little more than a failed Jewish revolutionary. There are no concurrent historical documents to support the gospel accounts, as you would expect because there are concurrent historical records of other figures.

  All the "history" surrounding Jesus was written much later. The earliest fragment found in centuries of searching was dated to 125 CE, plenty of time for hero mythology to built up by his followers. All ancient religions, including Jews and Christians, built up hero mythology to bolster their worldview.

  I'm not "ANTI" Christ, in the sense of being against him. Just like as with the tooth fairy, I don't believe. Am I "ANTI TOOTH FAIRY"?

  Aleman you keep tripping up yourself and the JW org with your arguments.

  You state the the antichrist in the broadest sense includes those who oppose or lyingly say they are Jesus Christ or his representatives.........well unfortunately the JW org has claimed that the FDS is God or JCs represenatative on earth and yet the y have repeatedly got times and doctrines wrong and changed their minds.........they have in otherwords lied and yet they claim to be Gods earthly representatives.......you really need to research this not just use the argument of an army that uses more modern weapons as time goes on......they have actually used dates such as 1925 and 1975 as being the time armageddon would come.......many of us were raised on the belief that education, pensions and savings were not important because Armageddon would be here.......they forbid blood in all forms then changed their minds and allowed blood fractions as a matter of conscience......blood fractions are a part of blood.....they add to the scriptures by saying that birthdays and christmas should not be celebrated........they cover up issues of abuse by not reporting these matters to the police to save face and they do this by applying a 2 witness rule.

  Before you charge ahead calling us all the anti christ please remember we have all been where you are........there is nothing you know that is different from what many of us were raised on.

  And there are many that use this board that acknowledge both Jesus and God and are not JWs,

  There is not one antichrist but many like it is writen on 1 John 2:18 - “Young children, it is the last hour [evidently the end of the apostolic period], and, just as you have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists.” This is why all of you, I have seen your thought and claims, are the antichrist, unbelievers, unfaithful, misguided, sith lords, who went to the dark side. You gave into the hate, ambition, selfishness, and the way of the demon sith lord Satan.

  As I recall the antichrist as invisioned by the watchtower and others is unbiblical. I think if I remember right the letters of John were the only books to use the word antichrist and it was in reference to christians or people in his day, not a future boogeyman.

  You would deny the Holy Spirit! that was is the greastest sin in the bible. Sinning against the holy spirit denying it's Godship and place within the trinity is the unforgivable sin. (BTW I don't believe in the trinty I believe that was added to support the trinity later)

  Fit's your religion perfectly. The fruits I see? Dead kids because of misapplication of a single scripture in Acts that was referring to 'eating of blood' - no more no less. Ruined lives due to shunning policy that has no scriptural support. Devastated victims of sexual predation due to application of ancient 'two witness' rules intended not for Christians but Jews. Power mongering elders and CO's who have no idea how to love one another. A book sales club that forces people to sell it's propaganda for free. ON and ON. So many proofs - so little time.

  The dark side resides inside cultish religions who superimpose deception on the Bible, then change it from time to time to avoid lawsuits. Last time I looked, denial of Jesus as a personal mediator for human beings was replaced with an organization as mediator. I would say Satan has done well in blinding you to facts.

  The WTS has openly claimed to be the mediator instead of Christ. You might have missed that issue with so much bullshit to read every week. I missed it for 40 years.

  Would that include gossip and slander and destruction of the good names of thousands of Jesus' brothers who just elected to leave your false version of Christianity? Just wondering!

  Yes they did. Jehovah's witnesses turned against Christian doctrine a long time back. And then spent the next century manipulating the masses to believe that the followers of Christ were evil. They were not of the Christian sort.
