on television you can't do what I have just been doing, which is roaming around youtube listening to beautiful music. I started listening to various versions of Ave Maria which is one of the most beautiful songs ever written - eventually I came to pavarotti, of course, and then clicked on some links showing P. singing with some interesting other folks - singing Ave Maria with Bono for instance (not so good) and singing Come Back to Sorrento with Meatloaf (pretty good). Makes me wonder why Meatloaf is called Meatloaf - he's really a good singer. Last night I was listening to O Sacred Head Now Wounded, several different singers, also guitar solos, acapella choir, and then found out that Paul Simon's American Song is based on O Sacred Head Now Wounded. I didn't know that before. Television doesn't even begin to compete.

Internet absolutely. If anyone I know isn't into Internet world with email, then it's difficult to be in touch with them. I've gotten so if someone doesn't have internet, then it concerns me about them.
