Did I ever tell you guys that once I got a beating (one of the worst beatings) for not putting the 2.00 in the contribution box? Yeah, well I wanted ice cream so I put 1.00 in the box and kept the other. One of the Elders saw me and told my parents. I don't know if they were more embarassed because they were only giving 2.00 or if it was me taking on of the measly 2.00

Thats messed and funny. I got in troube once when I "stole" money form the contribution box we kept at home. All I wanted was a extra snack for school. I was pointing the most money in it any way.

I never doubted the scripture, I knew it was there, just a HUGE problem with men and religion misapplying it for their greedy gain. We should not apply to God what men misquote.
People equate God with the WTBS, the two are totally different unless we subconsciencely or directly believe that they are God's organization????????????

At the risk of being overly pedantic, I would expand on the above by saying:
The WTBS (and those who blindly follow it) equate God with the WTBS.
That is what I had in mind when I originally said:

Guess I should have been more precise. Then again, it's a fairly "fluffy" thread.

That Jehovah guy kills me!
Fort Knox and the Black Hills of South Dakota as well as other places that don't come to mind presently sound like good places for Jehovah to visit. He's wasting his time at Kingdom Halls, if he goes every Sunday from now until his cult self destructs.
