From the looks of it, the original Carl_Hernz aka BlakeSeeley aka Carl Hernz got his feelings hurt a few months ago because he ran into people who called him out on some blanket statements he was making. His final posting before leaving (under his original username of Carl_Hernz) was this:
"And while I do want to thank those that were kind enough to write in their support and others who even apologized I am really bowing out now. I am sure I just caught some people on a bad day, and like Anne Frank believe that there's goodness in everybody. I'm just don't feel up to par with you fine folks, and I mean that sincerely. Thanks for the messages of welcome, but I don't like the way I have ended up feeling the short time I've been here. Perhaps I am not ready. But enjoy!"
The fact is that he came out as a strong theist and was surprised when he found out that not everybody else shared his views.
This is how wrongful disfellowshippings happen

The problem is that these two posters are denying they know each other or that one if visiting the other and that one is in Texas while the other is in Florida.
On http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/146760/6.ashx CarlHernz states: " I do know him " and " He’s in my neck of the woods right now (Florida), but I think he will be back in Texas in a day or so." That could easily account for the same IP.
On http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/146760/7.ashx CarlHernz states " I’m not Blake Seeley. "
BlakeSeeley never states whether he knows or doesn't know CarlHernz, BlakeSeeley is off the thread by then and apparently has left JWD (See http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/146760/6.ashx, erynw's 1008th post).
On http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/146760/7.ashx (CarlHernz, post 4) CarlHernz says "I can prove I'm not him." In post 5 he states that he (CarlHernz is in Florida and that BlakeSeeley is from Texas, not that he is IN Texas at the present time.
I don't see denial or lying here.

Anne, read through (new) Carl's posts - in post #2 he says that he sent an e-mail to Blake Seeley after reading his thread.
They both used the same computer.
Why would Carl send an e-mail to someone sharing the same computer? -

After a bit of digging I know there are 4 accounts coming from this address with similar names and emails, I think that says alot

I think it is quite a stretch to compare this situation to a wrongful disfellowshipping.

...And you are certainly entitled to your opinion!

Yes, it must be like a disfellowshipping ... no one else on the internet ever gets their account deleted on any other site ...
This is one person trying to be clever when they are not. When people start replying to themselves with duplicate accounts they always resort to the 'oh, erm ... it was someone using my computer' line when they get caught - when they were obviously trying to make out they were someone else somewhere else.
And in case you didn't understand the first line ... it was sarcasm. Being deleted off an internet site for breaking the site rules is nothing like being disfellowshipped.

I'm an accountant. One of the things I do as part of my job is field audits to investigate possible fraud or other improper activity with company accounts. I'm also a part time writer. That post didn't smell right to me coming out of the starting gate. Asking for personal information on the first post is a red flag. Not providing anyway to verify his information, he's a journalist at CNN or whatever is another red flag. And, as was pointed out above, his stated interest is investigating dirt on this forum. No offense, I like this place, but no journalist with the brains God gave gravel is going to care about it. His talk about cliques makes it sound like he'd discovered Republican undercover agents in the Hilary Clinton campaign staff.
