Thinking of you today JH. I understand the date thing. The emotional pain, is just a little more on those days, even the days leading up to it. It will be better tomorrow, It is good to remember good things today Think about things you did together, or get out pictures of a vacation you took.
Check out those places on the internet, to see it they have changed. Look at them from Google Earth. Go eat lunch at the place he liked.

Time does fly. It gets easier but if you're like me, you still think about your parent almost every day.
My mom has been gone for almost seven years now and I still miss her.
