My sympathies. My dad will be gone for 13 yrs in March. The pain eases a bit, the hole in your soul remains.

I know how you feel. My mother died a week before Christmas (although she was a good JW non-celebrating sort) and it took me a few years to realize the reason I got depressed just before christmas was because of my mother's death.
