Apart from your usual vacuous bluster, focused as always on presentation rather than content, you once again seem to be deliberately avoiding the challenge that I made in which I volunteered to teach you a few good lessons involving scientific facts that completely undermine your nonsensical notions of geologic history? Are you up to the challenge, or are you just happy to revel in play as our resident buf/ffoon?
Something that has been noticeable about your posts from very early on on this Board, is that you seem intellectually incapable of attending to any argument that challenges any of your viewpoints and seem more focused on external issues, such as a persons spelling and grammar, rather than the point they are actually making. It is rather like listening to a well coiffured elder, basking in his polished polyester suit, speaking style perfectly tuned by the Theocratic School, the confidence of cult at his elbow. Vinny, I have to disagree with much of your last past. It struck me as filled with generalization and heated emotion. I couldn't respond to it all, here are the highlights I saw.
I RESPECT THEIR RIGHT TO BELIEVE WHAT THEY BELIEVE! (But unfortunately the same is not shown in return).
That parenthetical comment is such a broad, sweeping statement. There are many believers here who are shown respect because they aren't trying to jam their beliefs down the throats of doubters.
Then you refer to:
broad and continuous slamming of those with theistic or divergent beliefs.....Atheists will post thread after thread and comment after comment outright ridiculing those that believe differently here.
There is a difference between debate about ideas and "slamming". If I go to different threads where believers continue to say their way is the ONLY logical way, and post a balanced alternate view, that is not an attack. Unless someone has extremely thin skin. In that case I'd say grow up and stop with the persecution complex.

Again, this is a broad, unprovable generalization. Lots of JW's feel stuck in there and cannot leave due to family situations. Others are just faking it -- you know that. So you cannot paint all JW's with a broad brush and say they all really deeply believe in God. I wouldn't doubt there are thousands of agnostics among JW's at this very moment.
Many believers have experience and insight from decades of being a JW where they can help others to find their way out.
Anybody here can help JW's find their way out. They don't have to be a believer. Most everybody here has had some experience with the domination and social pressures exerted at the Kingdom Hall. I don't see what advantage a believer has over an unbeliever in terms of helping newbies here. I'm an atheist, but it doesn't mean I come up to newbies here and say "Hi I'm an atheist!" I wouldn't do that to people in real life either.

I'd never disparage anybody for their beliefs. But if they make silly arguments, they better be prepared to defend them. I just want better reasoning than "well just look around, there MUST be a God" or something like that.
