I don't know how to put pictures up the 'proper' way either (using photobucket or things like that)! What I usually do is find a pic using Google image search, then click the image I like (which takes you to the website it is found on) then at the top, there is still the small image - I click that to enlarge it and then copy and past that image (not the image on the website itself). Hope this helps you
Anyway, I was finishing work when I posted the last pic so I didn't have time to comment. Was it difficult to climb? It looks very sheer but on the other hand it looks like there are plenty of footholds. The rock formation reminds me of the Giant's Causeway too.

Thanks, Sad. Climbing Beacon Rock is only a matter of stamina. A route path already there, with iron handrails, Not much steeper than a staircase. But if you are afraid of heights it would not be for you. There are places where the 24" wide path hand rail is the only thing between you and a sheer 400 ft cliff. But the view is incredible all the way up.

Definitely not for me then - I get dizzy just climbing up 5-step ladders! -

Nice digs, Gregor.

I love your neck of the woods up there Gregor. It is incredible in it's beauty. Washington or Oregon - it's hard to decide which is the prettiest.
Wifey and I almost moved there to 'serve where the need was greater' in the mid 90's. Staying with this mean spirited congregation in the ole' corn belt was better though, since it eventually lead us to get the hell out of the organization.
Still - I envy your place in the world. Mine looks about like this;
Pretty wonderful if you enjoy flat, interrupted by flat. Oh and corn on most horizons. God, why do I stay here? Now you've gone and done it.
