I know. But at least the corn gives us something to look up too. Soybeans make you look down to see them, and Hoosiers already are looking down far too often.
Jeff
Oh, come on. Everyone knows there's more than corn in Indiana.
As JK666 said, there's soybeans too. And hay fields. And it's really fun when you're driving over the top of a "steep" hill and your tummy gets a little fluttery (we Hoosiers aren't used to altitude changes, even small ones.)

Small hills? You have small hills over in that part of the state? Now I am jealous.
I fear we have hijacked Gregor's thread. Sorry Gregor. I really did mean that about your beautiful state.
Jeff
When she says small, she means like 20'. We have a few "humps" in a paved road not far away that give a little negative G's if you take them at about 60mph (plus the thrill of hoping that whoever is coming from the other way- that you can't see- will actually be on their side of the road and not smack you head on).
I really do wonder how wimpy we are about stuff like that in IN. My ears pop just driving down the hill to go downtown. It's probably a max 300' elevation change.
(I iz wimpy)
Good to see ya' back LDB.
Jeff
Gregor, does this look familier?
We just spent a couple of week camping in the area, we go every year.
Mt. Hood with a cloud cover. Saw it a few weeks ago with a 'lenticular' cloud which looks like a huge bowl inverted over the peak.
actually it's mt. adams, taken about 5 or 6 years ago.
