Mouthy, When our sons live in New Delhi ten years ago it often took three months to get a parcel to India via first class. Priority mail would still take ten days. On more than one occassion the items never even arrived. Hope you have better results. carmel

    Hi Mouthy,

Haven't had the chance to tell you how much I enjoy your posts and incite...you are truly an asset to this board.

I personally ordered a small rug from across the pond. It took me six weeks to receive it. Hope that helps...

Why don't you just call the Post Office and ask them for information? Asking people on JWD isn't going to get you anything but opinions.

A parcel shipped from Canada to California, sat in the Canadian distribution center for three weeks; before, they passed it on to the US postal system. I paid $26 US for the shipping of a 6 lb package. If you want to make sure it gets there timely use FedEx, UPS or Airborne, never use the Canadian post office for anything leaving Canada.
